Our UK and Bangkok Offices will be closed from 24th December 2021 and re-open on 4th January 2022.
From 04.00 hours on Monday 30/08/2021 Thailand will be on the red list. Travellers from Thailand who are British or Irish Citizens or Thais with residence rights in the UK will be allowed to enter the UK but must do a 14 day hotel quarantine which must be booked prior to travel at a cost of £2285.

The situation could change if the Coronavirus problem worsens or by Government order.
It was announced today that the Immigration Health Surcharge is to be increased from the current £400.00 a year to £624.00 a year. This change to come in during October 2020 the exact date has not been announced. This is a large increase of 56%.
Lek (Suthisa) will be attending the TWN conference at the Royal Thai Embassy Zurich from 24-26 May and back in the office on Tuesday 28th May after the Bank Holiday.
Within hours of Tony being interviewed twice by ITV Meridian for the news at 6 today the case in question has been immediately overturned by the Home Office and the visa issued. This was a case where the Home Office refused a settlement visa for a wife by applying the incorrect rule. Tony was asked for his comments on this case.
Angela has now received authorisation from the OISC to work as a qualified immigration Adviser.
As from 21st April 2017 all settlement visa applications will be processed in the UK and decisions will be made in approximately 60 working days. Please see details on our Settlement Visa page.




Fees Scale as at 2nd April 2020.  Our fees are not subject to VAT in addition to the fee quoted.

In all cases please note that our fees do not include the cost of scanning documents at any application centre. Our fees do not include the cost of biometric enrolment  for applications made in the UK.


Due to the complexity of individual cases it is not possible to quote fees on our website. We will be pleased to discuss your case and give a quotation.

All visa fees are set in £Sterling but are payable in US$ only at overseas visa application centres. The exchange rate used does not always reflect the actual prevailing exchange rate.

Settlement Visa Service Fee £1200.

Embassy fee for spouses. fiancees, partners or a child is £1523.00 plus the compulsory card fees, exchange rate fluctuations and other charges. We will tell you the  amount required at the time the payment is due to be made. Payments are made in US$ only.

Dependant Relative (for example a parent but NOT children) Embassy Fee in the  region of £3250.00 plus charges as above.

Some applicants will need a TB test which is an extra expense.

Applicants aged 18-65 from a non-English speaking country must pass a test of basic English at a recognised test centre which incurs an extra expense.

The NHS Surcharge of £624 to cover each period of 12 months validity of the visa will be payable at the time of application, so for a 33 month initial visa the fee is £1872 (a 9 month period is charged as a full year) and a 30 month extension costs £1560 this does not apply to applicants who are applying for Indefinite Leave to Enter the UK. Dependent children under 18 years of age pay a reduced IHS fee of £1410 at the visa stage and £1175 for the extension in the UK.

Our fee does not include the charge for scanning any documents by VFS in Bangkok or Sopra Steria in the UK or postage or courier fees. VFS charge  3000 Baht  to scan to UKVI in Sheffield where the applications are processed. Sopra Steria charge £75 to scan the documents. If we pay any post or courier fees on your behalf we will charge you the actual cost. These extra costs are not included in our service fee.





UK Tourist or Family Visit Visa service fee £550.00

The Embassy visa visas are approximately as follows but will be quoted to you at the time payment is due to the Embassy. Again payments can only be made in US$ so the examples below are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.

Up to 6 months £93.00

Up to 2 years £350.00*

Up to 5 years £636.00*

Up to 10 years £798.00* 

Student Visitor Visa less than 12 months £186.00

* In no circumstances can a tourist remain in the UK for longer than 6 months in any 12 month period. All fees are subject to an extra fee for card use and exchange rate fluctuations and are payable only in US$.


Further Leave To Remain


Service fee £800.00 plus £500.00 for each dependent child.

Home Office fee is £1033.00 plus £1033.00 for each dependent child under 18 years of age. 

All applicatiions have to be submitted at a Sopra Steria office, have biometrics taken and your documents scanned. Sopa Steria appointments cost up to £300.00 but there are less expensive and some free appointments available, biometrics are £19.20 per person and document scan about £70.00 per person.

The NHS surcharge of £624.00 per year in advance so for a 30 month extension the fee payable is £1560.00 in addition to the Home Office fee.  Dependent children applying at the same time as a parent pay £1175 for NHS surcharge.








Indefinite Leave To remain SET(M)

Service fee £800.00 plus £500.00 for each dependent child.

Home Office fee is £2389.00 for the main applicant plus £2389.00 for all dependents under 18 years of age. This is for applications submitted by post. For personal applications there is a surcharge of £610.00 per person including a non-refundable booking fee of £100.00. Applicants must attend an appointment at the Home Office partner firm Sopa Steria to have their biometrics enrolled and their documents scanned. Appointments are up to £300 to book but there are free and less expensive appointments available. Biometrics cost £19.20 per person and about £70.00 scanning charge per person.


British Citizenship.

Service fee £800.00

The Home Office fee is £1330.00 per adult applicant. This is a postal only service. 

HOURLY RATE FOR CONSULTATIONS IN PERSON OR BY E-MAIL/TELEPHONE £100.00 This is deducted if you then engage our services.

All our service fees can be paid by cash, cheque, bank transfer or with any of the major debit/credit cards for which we will send you an E-invoice by arrangement.

Please be aware that our service charge for visa applications is for regular applications only. Clients with an adverse immigration history such as previous illegal entry, overstay or other breach of the immigration rules will be subject to a higher fee depending on the breach involved.

In cases where an adult is applying with a child or children at the same time  for a visa or where two or more children are applying at the same time there are discounts available so please contact us for a quote.
